Doris Schumacher McMorrow’s background as a high-stakes corporate attorney and a successful entrepreneur makes her uniquely suited to navigating the complex issues of family law. From her initial career in corporate law, she gained a strong background in business negotiation and financial litigation.

For the past 25 years she has applied these skills to her marital dissolution practice, which includes complex high net worth cases, pre-and post-marital agreements, spousal support, custody disputes and business valuation.  Her experience negotiating in the corporate world has been vital to her practice of family law, where the resolution of family strife is critical to avoiding litigation.

Ms. McMorrow begins all of her cases searching for realistic and equitable solutions.  Her conviction that better outcomes are forged collaboratively make an out-of-court settlement her primary goal.  She continues, however to prepare every case for trial.  Her experience and talent as a litigator make her a powerful and effective advocate, when necessary, for her clients in court.
