Scott Pelletier is a divorce and family law attorney at Davis Friedman. After five years in the finance industry, he decided to pursue a Juris Doctor. While working on his law degree, Scott completed a five-month externship with the Health Justice Project—an experience that was pivotal to his career. During this time, he represented clients on a daily basis in areas relating to social security disability, Medicaid and public benefits, immigration, pensions, employment law and landlord-tenant law. Upon completion of this work, Scott knew he wanted to dedicate his law career to helping families through difficult times.
Scott believes in building relationships based on trust and reliable communications. His clients can count on him to be honest, realistic and responsive. He approaches every case with a refreshing energy and always strives to find collaborative solutions as a first resort.
Prior to joining Davis Friedman, Scott was an associate attorney at two Chicagoland family law firms, and a law clerk in the Circuit Court of Cook County chancery division. He has a background in political science. Scott and his wife, Stephanie, have one son who they welcomed in January 2023 and are expecting their second child in May 2024.
